Keenan General Contracting

Quality craftsmanship, guaranteed satisfaction. This project for Josh Keenan's General Contracting business was my first completely solo Branding Project. The majority of my work is completed within existing brand guidelines so this was a change of pace for me. Ultimately the goal was to create a brand that was professional and trustworthy without the fluff or flash of competitors. Straight to the point, no cutting corners.

With this in mind, the client opt for a monochromatic color scheme with simple and clean imagery. The final word mark reflects strength and simplicity by the strong angles and overall square footprint.

The main imagery/textures to reinforce these concepts are a grid similar to what you would find on a drafting table. Since the company focuses more on renovations, the imagery of a grid directly reflects this concept.

For the deliverables–I designed business cards, a letterhead, uniform polo, full brand kit/guidelines, and a secondary stamp style icon for more versatile use on future branded items.

Overall this project was a positive challenge for me and both the clients and I are thrilled with the final results!
